About us

Strataway came into being in the January 2000.  Our first “home” was in actual fact just that, a home-based business.  The two front bedrooms full of office equipment, two staff and no business until March 2000 from March to December of 2000 we grew steadily through referral business.

Strataway continued to grow steadily, three staff, then four.  One of the original partners left the business in 2006. The remaining partner Carole Anderson purchased the remaining 50% of the business.

Strataway has continued to grow steadily organically by client referral, working with a few chosen developers.

The home base became a commercial office in Mt Waverley in 2008 now with 5 staff Strataway continues to grow steadily and create a niche market for clients who understand value and great service.

Today we manage residential, commercial, industrial and strata-titled holiday apartment.

Our business is predominantly in metropolitan Melbourne with a growing base on Phillip Island and the Mornington Peninsula.

What we do:

Strataway works exclusively in Strata Management
As Strata Managers we manage all aspects of our clients’ strata titles property.
Our job is to keep our clients up-to-date with the latest requirements of the legislation while maintaining the value of your investment as an owner/occupier or an investor.

Why do we exist?

People have been living in apartments since Roman Times.  However, the concept of strata-dividing an apartment building into separate lots for individual ownership and sharing of common property commenced in Australia in the early sixties.
Now one quarter of Melbourne’s buildings are strata-titled.  The strata apartments market is the fasted growing industry throughout Australia.
More and more people are choosing to live, work and holiday in apartments.  The management of a group of collective owners and administration of the common property can become complicated.  The managementof an Owners Corporation involves a knowledge of legal, financial and property related matters.  Most importantly of all it requires an understanding of and the ability to manage people.

What do we value?

At Strataway we value our clients, their needs shape the direction of our business and creates a purpose for our existence.

We value our staff who are dedicated to giving the best possible service, who listen to what our clients needs are and who work out ways to get a desirable result.
There are no shortcuts, we value and learn from our mistakes and go on to develop- new skills and wisdom from our experiences.
